hey guys. for three years now, I think three years, I have an issue with a prolapsed uterus. it is OK so far, my doctor told me that there is no need go to the surgery like some ladies have to do, but that I need to be careful and to do some exercises that might help me with this problem. anyway, I was trying to find some of them and I found that some potential Kegel exercises can actually help me. I was wondering if this true? If it is, do you have any chance how those exercises can help me?

Sure. This is something the best in my opinion. Nothing has helped me in my Uterine Prolapse Treatment like Kegal exercises did. Sure, they are amazing, but like in everything, you need to do it constantan and have patience. In case if you didn't know, Kegel exercises help to strengthen the muscles that support the vagina. but also you have to know that Kegel is not enough by itself on many occasions. That is why I recommend you to ask your doctor what is the best for you, can you do Kegel exercises and if you can, how you are going to combine those exercises with something else. In my case, Kegel was just enough and amazing, but it is not the same for all.

Hey, thank you for your answer. So, I was googling something about this, about those Kegel exercises. I also watched some videos and it is not complicated, but I always tend to do something wrong, I never do it well, so in this case, I am also scared that I will perform some exercises bad and that I will do something even worse for my health. Is that even possible? Do you even know are there some people who can show you how to do that properly, just like you have those yoga instructors, for example? I think that this would help everyone a lot, especially all of us who are scared of this.

Hey, I understand your concern. I really do. But as long as you are scared of something, you will have this barrier in your head and you will never do it well. Even if you do it, you will be scared that you can always do it better. Anyway, consulting with someone is a great thing, I am not really sure that there are some "group Kegel exercises", but there are experts who can help you deal with it. Sure, it is not easy at the beginning because you need to find the right muscle in the first place, and to identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream. Also, you need to perfect your technique and you need to be focused. So many different factors and it takes a time to understand them all. That is normal. Every other day, you will be better until you reach the perfection.

It depends on so many different factors. For example, if your uterine prolapse is mild, you can do kegel exercises in order to ease symptoms and this will help you, for sure, to strengthen your pelvic floor. Sure, you need to know how to do those exercises, and doctors say that the proper way of doing those is to squeeze and tighten the pelvic floor muscles used to start and stop the flow of urine while your bladder is partially empty. Also, you need to know how to tighten the pelvic floor muscles. Hold it for a second, than release and repeat this exercise for 10 times every single day.  Repeat these exercises 10 times during a session and perform four sessions each day. The good thing is that you can do those exercises anytime and anyplace.

I have to add one thing in here that a lot of people are not aware of. Generally, they all do believe that doing Kegel exercise can help them to fix this problem totally. But guess what, you are so wrong and no, it is not possible to completely fix a prolapse with pelvic floor exercise! Do you even know what the prolapse is? It is like a hernia of the pelvic floor tissues. Sometimes the only way to get rid of it is surgery and those exercises can help you in your healing process. And they are great, btw!

Hello, let me share my experience with you. I had this procedure and I really must say that I had a great doctor who really introduced me to all possibilities and all side - effects that may occur. I think that this is very important - to have someone who can help you in this. Anyway, I can say that I was in huge pain, but that is all normal. I didn't want this to get over me. I was respecting all the doctor told me, and after 4 months he told me that I am OK and that I can go back to a job. So, I did. He also told me that I should perform Kegel exercises. So I did. It was a little bit hard for me to understand all of this, but I didn't want to give up. After 7 days, I think that I can say that I was pretty good at it. When it was a time for my doctor to check on my progress, he was also surprised. So, yes, those exercises can definitely help you!
