I've been diagnosed with scoliosis since I was an early teenager, and at 16, had two curves that were around 38 degrees. Since then my back pain has increased drastically, my first trimester of pregnancy, i was pretty much bed ridden and the doctors just blew off my pain. I've asked a doctor/midwife since 7 weeks pregnant what I should do, I just get speechlessness or to ask someone while in labor, and know that a risk of epidurals can in most extreme cases cause paralysis. I've been searching the internet and asking people and am now 34 weeks pregnant. Does anyone know if my chances are increased of paralysis since I've never had corrective surgery and the Army doctors(yes im an army wife) are not taking me seriously? HELP!
