Hi, a friend of mine had her appendix burst on her, and during the intervention they found out that she has some cancer cells on her left ovary. They decided to remove both ovaries, just in case to prevent further spreading. It was so shocking for me when I heard this. She didn’t get any chemotherapy, but now she has regular check ups, to notice all changes. She is under the risk for next five years to get cancer cells developed on some other inner organ.
