Unfortunately, I had to deal with seizures for a long time and even though I have gotten used to this condition, a lot of people around me didn’t and that bothers me. Well, can’t do anything about that… Anyway, lately I have been using Primidone and it helps but the problem is – I can’t achieve an orgasm. Why?

Primidone is jut one of the many medications that are meant to deal with seizures. It is an anticonvulsant, which means that it decreases the number of nerve impulses in your nerve system, and that eventually subdues the seizures. Unfortunately, one of the possible side effects is decreased sex ability.

I have similar problems with Sodium Valproate (Epilim), although I can usually achieve orgasm whenever I masturbate alone.  It's only when I'm with a partner that I have problems.  However, this is not a straightforward matter of impotency, as I can achieve a healthy erection as well as maintain it for quite a while, and although there is much to be said for stamina, but there is only so much a partner can take before I have to finish of by hand.

Also, although slightly off topic, whenever I have had a seizure (only in sleep with me) it takes me up to 10 days to recover, and for much of this time I can't even manage to masturbate successfully - in fact, during this recovery period, no matter how much I may conciously long to do so I even have problems achieving an erection.
