Im 52, female. I have started having migraine attacks more and more frequently, almost 3 times per month. I also suffer from osteoarthritis, so have to take great amount of analgesics. I have heard from a friend of mine that celecoxib is doing good in pain relief. Would it be effective in migraine and osteoarthritis treatment? Have you tried it? Please post.

You definitely should avoid taking celecoxib without your physicians prescription. This med is not safe at all to be taken like over-the-counter, its a prescription med. Persons that have cardiovascular or kidney diseases, stomach ulcer, asthma and some other health disorders are usually not prescribed with celebrex. There are other effective pain meds that are less dangerous but as effective as it, so Im sure that your doctor would prescribe you the right one.
