Hi. My name is Diane and I'm 42 years old. I started out this year with ovarian cancer. They managed to get all of the cancer out with surgery but because it's a reaccurring thing they decided to treat me with both chemo and radiation. It's almost the end of the year now and every upper tooth I have left is loose. They've pulled all of my upper molars. Bone loss caused me to get cavities below the gum line down to the roots. I'm just waiting to heal so I can get a partial made so I can Chew again. Now I have another problem, and this one is worse than my teeth falling out, my hip that was replaced 8 years ago is starting to hurt really bad. I went to the dr and they're gonna do a bone scan. I'm pretty sure it's the bone loss thing though. I'm just hoping I don't have to get the whole hip replacement all over again. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced bone loss from cancer treatments like I have?
