Every so often for about the last year I have been experiencing pain in my right side just before where my ribcage ends. And sometimes when I laid down on my right side it felt like there was something pressing against it. The last 3 days I have been experiencing pain in the right side of my chest like a sharp pain every time I breathe in. My right arm has also became painful sort of like a growing pains feeling and the pain has kinda moved to the centre of my chest and through to my back every time I try and take a deep breath and now its more of a tight pain. I have also had a bit of a temperature and head aches and been feeling quite dizzy, I don't know if any of this is related but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I'm a 19 year old female by the way.

Hi, based on what you said about the pain i can suggest that the pain you are experiencing is connected either to your liver or your kidneys. Your liver is a pretty big organ that helps purify all the toxins within your body. It might be something related to that, i would get that checked if i were you. You can check your livers status by a simple blood test where you check for AST and ALT values and see if they are up.

I have been having these same pains on and off for awhile. It was so horribly painful I would lay in bed for days. I went to emergency rooms and was always told nothing was wrong with me. Finally a few weeks ago I was admitted for testing and another CT scan with contrast showed gastric thickening. Basically my stomach is hardening on the inside and until I have an endoscopy my Dr has no idea why.
