Hello. I have a 5 year old child who recently had a liver panel done. Her AST, ALT, and BUN were all elevated. She had two more liver panels run, one and two weeks following the initial blood test. This week, her AST was 100, and her ALT was 354. The BUN has not been checked since the initial check. At that point, it was in the low 40's. She has had both Hep A and Hep B vaccines, has not been exposed to anyone(that we know of) that has mono, and has not shown any signs of other diseases. All of her hematology was within normal limits, and her cholesterol and triglycerides were well below what would be considered high. She does bruise easily, and seems to be losing her appetite lately. What could be going on?
