I have had anal itching for the past few years and nothing seems to make it go away. I don't see any pinworms and the area is not red. It happens most when I sweat but it is consistent regardless whether I sweat or not. I have tried antifungal, anti itch creams, warm water rinses, hot water rinses, pinworm medicines and nothing works. I am a 61 year old male. I took a photograph of the area (but don't know how to upload it), the area being scratched seems to be whiter than the surrounding skin and there are pink dots in a few areas.
