I am writing this to hopefully help others and maybe get some help myself. I am 36 and had DD in my cervical spine for 6 years. I had ACDF C5-7 in August of 2017 and my recovery was near 100%. In August of this year I found out I was pregnant. I have had a headache 31/2 months out of the 4 I have been pregnant. This is not morning sickness. I can deal with the nausea this is originating from my neck and causing severe debilitating headaches that wake me up and last for days to weeks.
I do not have migraines, Immitrex and such don't work. I stopped taking low doses of Oxycodone that I was taking daily before because of the baby but in that I have gotten prgressively worse. My dr gave me hydrocodone and I take a small bite of one every day or so to break thr pain but it isn't helping. Curious as to whether anyone has gone through or has any experience in this area. There is little to no research on this and it is a serious problem for anyone trying to have a baby after fusion.
