g_vlado I, too started getting this type of headache around 4 years ago. Have been a migraine sufferer all my life (54 years old) but this pain was different. I think it may be due to tension as it only occurs away from home around strangers. I do eat some things I shouldn't when away as well. i get relief from pressing down hard and massaging the sore part if it's not too painful. Do you tie your hair back as i was just reading this may be a cause? I wear my hair tied back permanently. I'll try to let it down and see if this makes a difference.

I too suffer with a pain in the right top of my head, I do notice though, that mine seems to come when I have sinus pressure. I also have been diagnosed with Meniere Disease, which is too much water behind the ear. I often wonder is this might cause it also.

I am 67 and have a very painful scalp ans head pain. I don't think I have allergies but have a constant dripping nose. All scans normal. Mine comes and goes as well. The pain varies from light to severe. No Doctor will address it. I'm thinking Fibromyalgia. Do you have a diagnosis?
