I'm 19 years old and thinking of getting my tubes tied. I'm 4 foot 11, weigh only 80 lbs, and have dealt with a list of medical problems growing up: diaphragmatic hernia, sever-scoliosis, open-heart surgery, restrictive lung disease, and now my latest is CO2 retention.
I know none of my problems can be passed genetically, but I also know it wouldn't be healthy for me to get pregnant.
My main issue is, how can CO2 retention effect an unborn child? I test my levels everyday and they run between 44-50, now that I'm being treated. Before that I was up to 70, when the normal is 20-30.
