Get your hips and core muscles checked. Pudendal nerve is likely getting irritated from something related to hip and/or core muscle injury/impingement. Best is Dr. Coleman HSS (hip) in NYC and Dr. Meyers at Vincera Institute in Philly (core muscles). They coordinate and will work together. can possibly be helped with specialist in Pelvic Floor PT in addition.

When I'm angry or frustrated, I feel it in my clitoris. It's as if the clit can sense amger and frustration too.

I am having the same issue just like you for a couple of months now! It started shortly after I had a surgical procedure done. I’ve been treated for UTIs and yeast infections and that didn’t work. I did try some natural supplements such as corn silk which does help for a short amount of time and then the sensation comes right back. Any help or a solution on what else I can try to make this tingling sensation go away please let me know!

I’m having the exact same thing! I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this though, makes me feel less crazy that it’s not all in my head!

I’m 20 years old and I first started getting this when I was about 7 it goes for a couple of years then stays for a couple of years, I can’t pin point a pattern when it happens.
I feel it mostly when I go to sleep and stressing about it makes it 100% worse, I either have to talk to myself to distract myself or touch myself, which only leaves me pained and without the feeling until I wake up the next day.
I originally thought it was psychological trauma from sexual abuse when I was a child (although I haven’t ruled that out), my doctor said it was an anxiety muscle spasum and prescribed me antidepressants which I had gone off of a month prior which led me to feel this feeling for the first time in years, it went away for about 2 months and has now returned again.
The only slightly similar things I can find online is restless gential syndrome but I’m honestly to embarrassed to see my doctor about this again. I’m not sure what to do anymore.

Any help will be great! I’m going to force myself to talk to my doctor and if I have any news I’ll post here straight away!

Do any of you experience pain during sex or inserting tampon?
I’ve just looked up Vaginismus and those things are the result of involuntary vagina muscle spasm. Something to look into! The information is only on Wikipedia but they have a list of main factors that may contribute to this spasm including sexual abuse, yeast infection and so on.

Look up both restless genital syndrome and vaginismus!

UGH I’m feeling the same exact thing. It’s 4am and I can’t sleep for sh!t. I really can’t find anything online about it. It’s the first night experiencing this feeling and you ladies have been saying it’s been going on for days/ MONTHS. Not looking forward to it. And then the fact that the doctor doesn’t know what is it. Nooooooo.
It does feel better when I tighten my vagina. Like when you hold your pee in but it’s annoying to always tighten it.

I am going through this now for the second time in a couple months, but the first time lasted a few hours, not days, so I hope this doesn't go for months like some of you have reported! I wonder if the fact I have Restless Leg Syndrome means this could be restless vagina syndrome. Crazy--I didn't know any of this existed!

Hi Ladies, I am so glad I found this forum. I have had the same problem for years, starting when I was like 7 years old, and much worse in the past few months. Every time I go dinner with my husband I need to go to the toilet and masturbate because I can't put up with the feeling of being aroused (but not in a pleasant turned on way... more like an obligation kind of thing). At night I can't sleep, I need to wake up and masturbate in the toilet 3-4 times before being able to sleep... Apparently it's called Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persistent_genital_arousal_disorder https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/249594.php

I have recently gone to a local herbalist and they have given me corn silk and goldenseal for the problem. It has given me at least 50% relief. I don’t feel the need to have to masturabate all the time and I am able to sleep. I hope this helps for you guys. Please let me know if it’s does!

Ladies, I have had this happen once before and it isnt painful, it was more like annoying or weird feeling. Right at the clit and happen on and off. It started happening more and more as days and weeks gone by. My aunt told me to go to a urologist. They found that i had a kidney stone stuck, you dont feel the pain because its not moving, they had to put a stint in until it passed. But the feeling went away, this was in 2014, and i am feeling the same thing again. Try seeing a urologist to rule out kidney stones.
