I've been bleeding for 6 months. Tried nexplanon and pills. Nothing is working. I'm 28, had a tubial after I had my daughter in 06. I'm done with kids. Been diagnosed with endometriosis. I Have to wear company issued white pants at work- not cool when you go through a super plus tampon and an overnight pad in an hour. I've changed my diet and tried vitamins. My job is physically demanding so I don't have or need an exercise regimen. I'm maybe 30 lbs over weight but muscle does outweigh fat and lifting 50+ lbs for 8 hrs a day will build muscle. My doc says she don't recommend a hysterectomy because I'm so young- but also says that we must get everything under control or in 5 years (now 4.5) I'm looking at cancer. Glad to see I'm not alone.

That sounds so miserable.. I highly suggest you get a second opopinion about getting a hysterectomy. It seems like it is interfering with your daily life. I am 28 years old and just had a hysterectomy done 2 weeks ago because I had high grade dysplasia. My doctor suggested a hysterectomy so it wouldn't have a chance to turn into cancer. Your situation seems to be more than enough reason to have a hysterectomy done. Try to get a second opinion and I hope everything works out for you!

I have been non stop bleeding for 6 months now. The flow ranges from light to soaking thru a super plus tampon in less than 10 min with horrible clotting and painful cramping! I went to the ER which was no help what so ever! The Dr there said I need to have an endometrial biopsy and they dont have to tools to do that type of procedure, my ob has to perform it. All I know is a ct scan showed my ovaries as being fine and cyst free but another ct scan performed 9 months later showed multi cysts and even tho during an internal ultrasound my left ovary could not be visualized, also happens to be the side i have constant cramping, the ER Dr showed no concern or care, never even gave me a pelvic exam or anything! I have cervical and ovarian cancer running thru my family like crazy and a couple years ago lost an aunt to ovarian cancer even tho she hadnt had ovaries in over 17 years. But because she had numerous ovarian cysts rupture prior to having a complete hysterectomy which had pre cancer cells, as the cysts would rupture her body would absorb it and later developed into full blown cancer which wasnt discovered until she was stage 4 and a month and half later, she was gone! I'm 40 years old I have 3 beautiful daughters, all now adults, I've never taken birth control pills, I've always had a light, easy period that you could set a calendar to, never had cramps and at age 21 after the birth of my 3rd daughter I had a tubal ligation. prior to my sudden onset of nonstop bleeding my cycles would sometimes have anywhere from 3 to 8 months in between of no period at all. During that time I just figured I must be going thru menopause, it made sense with my age, but now, bleeding this long and over half the time my flow is so heavy I get no sleep cause im up a couple times an hour, im scared to go anywhere cause i'll more than likely soak thru and really dont feel like doing that in public. Its causing horrible relationship problems between my fiance and I and quite honestly, I'm sick of ruining clothes and bed sheets! has anyone had any luck getting theirs to stop at all. I'm hoping for a hysterectomy but based on all the posts ive read here, its not sounding like that will be an easy task.

I had this problem twice. The first time the gyno put me on extra hormones, and then more hormones. the second gyno said it was because of the hormones so she took me off and suggested an IUD instead. It was the best decision and advice comparatively.
