Seek further treatment from another GYN AND ASK EVERYQUESTION and be 100 percent upfront about ALL YOUR SYMPTOMS. I had some intcontinence and left that out.... now she’s concerned !! Ask questions and take daily notes of your bodily functions and how you feel. It’s sad but it the only way they will listen! Good luck!

I have had very heavy, constant bleeding for 10 months, followed by 5 years of intermittent heavy extended bleeding. Nonsense like 3 months on, 1 week off, 2 weeks on, 3 days off. Nightmare. I was able to have a baby last year. I don’t think it causes infertility. So long as your ovaries are working. The only things I believe to have helped me other than prayer, have been Non-synthetic progesterone cream made from yams, and pure lavender essential oil, and regular massage. I used the yam lotion to manually start and stop my cycle. I diffused lavender oil all night every night for a few months before I got pregnant. I really think it had something to do with it. It’s supposed to help balance hormones. It also helps calm you down.
I truly believe inflammation is the true root cause of this problem. I Became pregnant after continued massage therapy for a year, 1-4 appointments a month. I really believe massage combined with essential oils helped reduce overall inflammation in my body.
The problem recently started again when my baby turned 14 months old. So I am going to use massage, oils, yoga, diet, apple cider vinegar(as a beverage to reduce inflammation) , and turmeric milk, exercise, prayer, and yam cream to combat it. I know after 10 years of dealing with numerous doctors they really don’t know what to do for me outside of a hysterectomy, synthetic progesterone to regulate your cycle forever, which is a carcinogen, or an oblation procedure in which they remove the uterine lining permanently.
Good luck to you, and god bless you.

Absolutely sympathize!
Here is my story and what is happening due to events:
Since I was 18 (now 22) I have had this nagging back pain, hair growth and all the other symptoms of PCOS. I was taken for an ultrasound and yet nothing showed. Fast forward a nagging four years of hassling doctors due to my age and being a woman they did an MRI on my back and showed I had disc degeneration of a 40-year-old and administrated epidural steroid injections. Though this relieved some of the pain it didn't explain why a healthy 22 year old has no spongy layer between the lumbar discs. Anyways I went for a blood test because I have been bleeding brown/black blood for nearly 5 months and prior to this I hadn't had a period for nearly a year (i do not take birth control, have a girlfriend so not pregnant either) and if my period occurs it lasts only a couple of days. So initially I thought it was just expelling old blood.
I told my mother and she burdened me with the news that at 19 she had abnormal cells down there that needed removal. Well, that sent alarm bells and I told my GP. My blood test results came back and came to realize I have had Thrombocytosis (high platelet and calcium) for 4 years without any doctor looking into it until a temp was covering. My vitamin D levels were also a measly 18 so was put on 1000IU D3, one a day. Still bleeding. So off I go to get another ultrasound hoping there are answers that I have needed but alas nothing on my scans. So now I'm at a bit of a loss, they won't give me a pap/smear as I am not 25 (yeah I don't know why either). I haven't been referred to a gyno, I have a haemotologist appt on the 10th April 2018 and now I need to make another DP appointment.
I know I have no answers for you ladies as of yet but I have to ask, has anyone had an ultrasound come back completely negative and yet still bleeding? I don't have PCOS, fibroids etc that they can see from the scan anyways. Of course, I worry about the dreaded C word and due to the timescale, I am not very hopeful. Has anyone else had these problems and have any advice or answers? I'm not anemic etc it's just platelet and WBC.
