I’m only 18 too!! And I’ve been on my period for roughly 8 months:( I think I’ve had a few days maybe one week most that I’ve been period free, most of these I’ve still had shows and it costs a fortune in santiray products too!! I have the Nexplanon implant but I had band side effects with birth control pills too, the doctors tested me for everything and only came back with an iron deficiency, I think it’s not just bad luck for us women - I’ve been back to the doctors 3 or 4 times now and she just doesn’t seem to believe me/ care that I’ve been constantly bleeding for almost a year of my life

I had been bleeding heavy with clots for 3 months. While navigating the internet trying to figure out what was wrong with me I came across a post saying to take iron pills I immediately went to Walgreens purchased a drinkable iron supplement named S.S.S tonic took as directed 3 tablespoons a day after each meal with in that same day I noticed bleeding getting lighter and by 4 day bleeding was completely gone. Prior to this doctor has given me birth control pills that were not making a change. I urge anyone going through heavy non stop bleeding to give it a try.

I have been bleeding for more then fifteen months straight after having my son. I have been for many ultrasounds, monthly sti tests. I somehow got pregnant continued bleeding and didn’t miscarry. I was advised to have a d&c by my gynaecologists (about three months ago). Got a Mirena after that and somehow thru all of this I have never stopped bleeding.
I also experienced this over sox years ago. I bled for a year and a half and somehow managed to conceive twice in that period. I got a Mirena and the bleeding stopped right away that time. But I then got pregnant with my son at some point while using my Mirena.
So here we are fifteen months working on sixteen. I hope somebody has an answer. My gynaecologist doesn’t seem to take stuff she can’t seem to resolve too seriously.

You will conceive. I bled for a year and a half straight conceived twice during that time and bled the whole time. No miscarriage.

I even continued bleeding got a Mirena and then conceived. I have my son who was created with that which was put in place to stop the bleeding. It is all very possible.
