I'm 29 and going on 4 years of consistent heavy bleeding (clots and lining) with up to 3 days break every 5 weeks or so! I have pcos, had endometriosis and Adenomyosis. had the mirena coil inserted back in Feb 2016 but didn't do any good. How am I alive?? I spend 24/7 bleeding to death... it's insane that apart from abdominal pain, cramps and back aches the only other thing is chronic fatigue. Hope you get answers. I've been thrown from one specialist to another for 3 years.

'm the same I've been a year straight I'm on 6 months now every day is extremely heavy flow. I've been to at least 30 doctors in different states as well and have had every test done everything comes back completely normal. However o can say I was full vegan about a year ago and as long as I was I got my period normally every single month. So I'm making the translation back to being full fledge vegan now in order to regulate it. I know smoking (not cigs) helps a lot for me too as far as regulating it and slowing the flow) so eat healthier vegan if possible drink a lot of water every day and work out. You have to give your body at least a month before you'll start to see any changes

I'm beginning my third month of constant heavy bleeding with clots. It's so bad, I've had to wear adult diapers at times.
Doctors haven't been much help. From what I've been reading, i need to change my diet and try to get hormones ba k in order. Any suggestions?

I have had the same problem. Some all natural pills have helped a little the are dong quia and vitex that should help if you take those. i have a small cyst on my right ovary and have been bleeding for 7 months now. I go in on the 23rd to have it surgically removed and tested. however my doctor says the bleeding is caused by hormone imbalance. He suggested metformin for that.

I've been having constant blowing for the last 5 months. I was irregular all my life but never had anything like this! The blood is really dark and can be clotty and doesn't really tend to ease up. My Dr is frustrated and wants to know what's happening and has sent me for an ultrasound.
The ultrasound found nothing except a small ovarian cyst (a tiny one!) and my womb lining was thick. I was then referred to a specialist as my swabs were all completely clear and he was stumped.
I'm now waiting for a hysteroscopy as he believes it might be a uterine Polyp :/
Hope you get the help your looking for!

I know what an agony this is! I just bled for 6 straight months. Sometimes just spotting, sometimes blood and other times heavy bleeding so bad I just didn't want to get off the toilet. Clots, keeping the feminine hygiene products in business. I have PCOS and a hormone imbalance. And no one had an answer so I did a little research okay a ton of research and after trying everything to stop it I took iron supplements. I took 3 28 mg supplements a day for a few days. It started to slow down and then as normal I lost another clot and gushed a ton of blood and I cried. I just cried till I couldn't cry anymore. When I woke up the bleeding had stopped. No spotting when I wiped, nothing. So after about 3 days of this taking iron supplements and praying to the lord I haven't bled in almost a week. I physically feel better and an odd thing is I'm down 7 lbs. I don't know if this will help everyone but I HIGHLY suggest giving it a try.

I have similar problem for over three years i been bleeding none stop for 6 months really heavy that made me become anemic and my hemoglobin went really low that I need to get blood transfusion every time or over that months of my heavy period, My GYN decided to put an IUV in me to control my bleeding. I thought it's ll over, but after several months it started again the only difference is its not that heavy bleeding like it used too. But I'm still bleeding nd spotting none stop. I have a cyst in my ovarie and I'm waiting for my surgery, I'm just hoping that it will stop after my surgery is done. My suggestion to you is don't panic it will eventually going to take care off, just make sure you talk to your GYN and let her/him know every single details of what your experiencing when your bleeding. If your feeling dizzy go to your nearest clinic or hospital and have your blood test check to make sure your ok. make sure alsothat if you feel painto have your GYN knows. I hope you feel better soon.

I had been bleeding for 7 months straight and I was miserable. I also had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary for almost 3 years. I finally convinced my doctor to do a laparoscopic surgery. He found 2 cysts one on each ovary and a bunch of white stuff in my uterus. The biopsy results came back that I had endometrial hyperplasia which is thickening of my uterus wall. That is what was causeing me to bleed as well as my estrogen levels were high and I was not producing any progesterone and that is why my uterine lining of my wall was not shedding. In the end I also have PCOS which is polycystic ovarian syndrome and that's another result as to why I have endometrial hyperplasia. Maybe have your doctor check for something like that. Hope this helps.
