I had this when I was pregnant with my daughter. No other symptoms at first, just on/off cramping as if my period was going to start but it never did. I finally took a test and walah, I was 6 weeks pregnant, and literally starting have bad morning sickness the very next day. I say take a test, the sooner you know, the better.

Well, turned out that I am pregnant! I'm so happy. The journey to knowing that I'm pregnant was long and tense. I took the test too soon about 2 weeks ago and it came out negative.

i knew I was pregnant on the first day of missed period not because of some maternal instinct, but because my symptons for menstruation was entirley different than the other months I had monitoored. Yes, I did have cramping, but it was less frequent and not as intense. I also started experiencing camping closer to the day that I period started than normal. I did not get the sore breasts that I have now. They started to feel tender, but not sore.

Anyway, my tip for anyone wanting to get pregnant are two fold: look for changes in your cervical mucus, I had sex the day I noticed that my cervical mucus was stretchy. Following other methods simply did not work for me. I ovulated long after I was supposed to. Second, start writing down all your body changes (cramps, breast tenderness, gas, even write down the days you have sex, cervical mucus changes etc) for serveral months whether you are preganant or not. Do this with a pen and book, not on a computer as you will require portability and easy access. Create boxes with dates, like a calander, and jot down main symptons so that you can see many results on one page to determine trends. This will help you distinguish signs of a real pregnancy versus signs of mensturation. Everyone is so unique that you really need to know your body well. That way, way before the pregancy test, you eat well, as well as you reduce the stress of undestanding the signs. It's easy for me to advice you to simply wait to take the test to get a result, but the reality is that I too was anxious about whether or not I was pregnant. Writing down my symptoms helped me recognize whether I was pregnant or not and gave me more control as I understood my body over the past few months.

Cheers
