I had the cryo done on monday ( this is my 5th one) and I understand the discharge part, but on wed. I was in the shower and a large piece of tissue came out. It was whiteish/yellowish with red blotches on it.. I have had lots of pain and cramps since monday, i know it will take a few days to feel better, but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. previously the dead cells would leave my body by way of liquid form, as i experinced the other times i had this done; that is why there is the discharge for a bit after the procedure, but just never saw an actual piece of tissue, and even more so like that.... any ideas or thoughts... i keep having the cyro due to displasia.. high risk hpv.
thank you in advance for ideas and thoughts...

Hi! Maybe you could call your doctor and ask him about this. I found that foul smell or yellowish vaginal discharge can indicate an infection which may need immediate treatment. But it says nothing about peaces of tissue. Some slight cramping is normal, however, any severe or increasing pelvic pain you should report to your doctor. I hope you'll get well soon.

Hello,

I have CIN1 and my doctor wants to perform a cryosurgery to treat it. He said it will only take few minutes and I can return to normal being after 1 week, including sex.

I have read many articles around and in most of them minimum time before sexual intercourse is around 3 weeks. Also some crumps and pain was reported during intercourse afterwards, for months!!!, with some women having to stop the play due to it.. or experiencing discomfort while orgasming.

You have mentioned that you have had 5 of those performed so I cannot think of a better person to ask about it. Have you experienced above?

Thanks you so much for sharing your experience with me.

I hope you get better soon,
M

Hi,

You will have some cramping few a day or two, and watery discharge for about 4 days after. You can use a pantyliner, even more so on the first to days. It does only take 5 mins. for the procedure. they ask that you continue to lay down for a few mins. after , in case you feel light headed. It is safe to have.. I spoke with my doctor today and he stated that it was just the cervical tissue.. yes normally is does just come in in watery form, but sometimes you can see tissues form. The odor is just from the procedure and the cells from your cervix leaving your body. I asked that today too! he said that will stop once the discharge stops. I have a very very light discharge now, and it will be two weeks on monday. everyone heals different, some faster some slower, but all in all you should be good. Take a motrin before your procedure the cramps will hurt a bit and use a heating pad if you have one! That helps me alot!

Good luck!
