Can someone explain me those cumulative effects of the sun rays on the human skin? How can sunbathing for half an hour a day (and not even in a strong sun) be that dangerous for me? Does anyone know – thanks for the answer, I might decide on being more careful depending on the answer.

And you should be. The formula about the cumulative effect is easy. You gather in one value all the sunbathing, all the sun rays your skin has absorbed back from the day you were born until now and you will have one big, deadly, possibly skin cancer creating sun ray! Every time you felt sun on your face counts as the part of the cumulative effect. Disturbing, isn’t it?
