You need to wash it with soap and water; if you can stand the pain, put a small amount of iodine or alcohol on it, but beware that the penis and groin are highly sensitive to this and it may cause a burning pain for several minutes; do NOT put on very much if you put on any.  A band-aid will likely not stick very well, but cover it with Kleenex, tissue or gauze until the bleeding is staunched.  Trimming pubic hair often results in a very itchy penis (at least for a while), so you should use a good penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) for itchy penis issues.  A cream with a high end emollient like shea butter will work best.

Just leave your 'private part' hair as they say ' au natural' who else is going to bother about how hairy you are, if your girlfriend does not like you just because you are hairy'down there' I would consider getting a new one who appreciates a 'real man'
