D & C done, infection reached many parts of my body

I was 5 months and 3 weeks pregnant. I was showering when my baby came out still. I was told not to worry and I don't need one. A few days gone by I've seen my doctor and though I've developed a smell, fevers and constant pain I was turned away with nothing more then antibiotics. About 2 weeks later and all pills completed my body collapsed. Had a emergency D&C done. The infection reached many parts of my body. It was painful as they were doing it. And it's been about 18 months and the pain hasn't stopped. Nor has the really large blood clots, slight smell and discolored bleeding. The clots get as large as cotton balls sometimes much larger. The doctor says it's fine and I have nothing to worry about. What should I do?
