I have lots of trouble with ingrown hairs: they are in my hair line on my head, on my butt, and bikini line. And since I'm asian my hair is very thick, straight and black. The worst affected area is my bikini line. When I get them they grow huge, become infected, and feel like a rock. They usually get to the point of exploding on their own or going dormant--only to strike again later... And although they are painful, I can deal with them. I treat them very well and cleanse down there regulary. The only thing I can't deal with is the scars they leave behind. I have dark purple, pitted scars that cover from front to back off my binkini line. They are hideous and I have been made fun of for them. I can't shave or wax because my hair will instantly start to grow and seek its vengeance. I'm terrified to show another living soul my vagina or even endeavor in getting a boyfriend because of what I look like down there. Is there any way I can lessen the scars' intensity? The huge pits they have left I can coped with because I doubt there is any way to replace the lost tissue, but the dark purple combined with the pits looks disgusting. Please help me!
