Hi,

I am a 34 year old gay male and I'm cut. I also suffer from Bipolar Disorder which doesn't help. Every day of my life it bothers me that my penis was butchered at birth and I just can’t stand it anymore. When I was younger it didn't bother me but now that I'm older I have noticed that my penis head is looking more and more pale, blotchy and dried out as the days go by. (This is obviously due to the fact that it's not protected by a foreskin and moisturized by smegma). I wonder if foreskin restoration would restore it to a more even toned look and bring some of the lost colour back but don't have a clue.

As far as I know, if you are a straight male, women are less concerned about what it looks like and don't often care. Gay men worship each other’s penises and inspect them close up during oral sex etc. This makes me feel totally insecure to the point where I might never have sex again. On top of it all, 2-3 years ago, I noticed red spots on my ball bag that seem to form on the veins. Every time I look now there seem to be more that have formed over night and this is depressing me badly because it is only meant to happen in older men. I did some research and found out that it's Fordyce Angiokeratoma. I know that an Argon laser is a good treatment but hate the idea of going for a treatment where I will have to have a total stranger examining my unit and then shooting my balls with a laser.

Anyway, to keep my penis moisturized due to being cut, I use Bio Oil on it. I wanted to ask if this is a good or bad idea. Bio Oil is supposed to be good for scars and uneven skin tone but I don't know if it's safe to use "down there". It does make it softer and less dry.

Any advice would be much appreciated... even hearing from other "sufferers" with similar hang ups would help. Thanks in advance.

You may have several good points about appearance being more important to gay men for a variety of reasons. However, if a person is solely concerned with the appearance of your penis, they aren't really very involved with you, are they?

Another thing occurred to me when reading your complaints about drying and blotchy appearance on the head, without a foreskin.

You don't know if this is because of a lack of foreskin, or if all penis go through this. Also, this may be normal for your genetic background, and perhaps not others. As you are already cut, there is no going back. I've never heard of any successful foreskin restoration, and would caution you not get your hopes up.

However, perhaps someone else can comment upon the use of Bio Oil. I've never heard of it.

Hi

I have a simlar concern. I am also circumsized but i have a birth mark on the head of my penis. It really bothers me to the point that I have never done 'it'.

I want to get rid of it and have bought something called rescue oil (similar to bio oil but cheaper!) which I have just started to use on spot marks on my back. I want to know if it is bad for you to use bio oil/ rescue oil on the head of your penis.

Etopia...did you ever get an answer to your question.

Or anyone else...do you know if it is ok for me to use it on the head of my penis.

Please answer.

Thanks

never ever use bio oil on your penis! if it gets in your urethra it burns for 3 days and you won't get hard for weeks!

That's a total lie. I use bio oil to moisturize my penis and glans after showering and I have never experienced any of that
