I am an insulin dependent diabetic but I also have Lupus. Vasculitius has left me in stage 3 renal failure. I need to be treated occasionally for inflammation and the only option is prednisone. Is there a scale that can help me adjust my insulin to control blood glucose during this time. Right now I a reacting to high levels and flying blind. I would like to be able to prevent high numbers instead of just reacting to them. None of my physicians are aware of any information that might help.
