I was diagnosed approx. 6-7 years ago w fribro. I am a state trooper and rotate shifts. I cannot change my job; I take more vitamines then most people I know. I've read a lot and work on managing it. I cannot seem to get to a point where I can run without it completely wiping me out for a few days. I'm so tired of feeling like c**p! I'm on an antidepressant and lyrica, I have had all my blood tests run, I see at least one doctor every couple of months. I've developed excercise induced asthma, which I see a doctor for also. They all tell me I'm doing everything I can and managing it well, but it's so irritating. Has anyone come up with any further answers for this disease?

I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with all this stuff but I did just find out about something that's sort of helpful for you. Have you ever heard of cognitive behavioral therapy? They are actually saying that CBT combined with exercise can be very helpful for people who have fibromyalgia. DO you think you could maybe talk to a therapist about it or something to help you do it? I think it would be worth a shot!
