Diagnosed with ovarian cancer and wondering does immune system recover after chemo?

Hi everybody,

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two months ago and after the debunking surgery, followed by complete oophorectomy and hysterectomy (the cancer was already in stage II), my oncologist recommended I have adjuvant chemotherapy because it seems I have very invasive form of ovarian cancer with a high chance of recurrence.

I’m starting my chemo next week and from all the info I’ve read I know that my immune system will be completely wrecked, not to mention other side effects. What I was wondering, though, is how soon will my immune system recover after the chemo?
