Did I do something wrong?:/ was it just because I didn't want to have sex?

Me and this Guy were hanging out and we went up the canyon and just sat in the back of his truck...then he kissed me..we aren't together. Then he pulled me on too of him and we started making out hard core. It was amazing(: but then I got really turned on and wet and he got hard...so he started taking off everything and he took off his pants and he was going to put it in but I told him not to..cause we didn't have protection...so he put on his clothes and got in his trunk so I did the same and he didn't talk to me on the ride home. When he dropped me off at home I tried to give him a kiss goodbye but he just moved his head....did I do something wrong?:/ was it just because I didn't want to have sex?:/
