My daughters eyes are brown and always dialated. She seems to see just fine and says the sund does not bother her eyes. It still worries me alittle so at her next check up I am going to bring it up.

I am currently 25, and I've had extremely large pupils all my life. I also have extremely light bright green eye which makes my vision really poor specially at night. My eye doctor said that my extremely large pupils is related to naturally dry eyes. This can also make my night blindness worse. As the older I have got, the condition has been worse. Just be very carful in sunlight. My eye doctor had to give me special sunglasses as well.

My blue eyed blondish haired boy has the same problem. He plays Xbox a lot. I had him at an eye specialist and his eyes did react to light. I was told that his large pupil dilation was (normal). I am taking him this week again to another eye specialist this coming week. I will let you know how it comes out. He is not on any medication or illegal drugs.

I have extremely large pupils, and large eyes that are in fact blue. The only time they constrict is in very bright sunlight. I've also been told i look like I'm on drugs bc of it. I guess I would consider myself sensitive to certain lighting. I also have mild astigmatism but I don't need glasses. It's so odd there is no definant answer to why we have these big old pupils

I have very large pupils and I'm now used to people making comments on it. However I have realised more recently that when I go to night clubs in large cities I get rejected because they say my pupils are dilated so I must be on drugs. Also, having blood shot eyes from wearing my contacts too long doesn't help them problem. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can prove to these bouncers that I'm not on drugs and that I just have naturally large pupils because it's really annoying and embarrassing.

I'm on here trying to figure out why my 3 year old boy has huge pupils and I think it may be a genetic thing. He is too, blue eyed as am I. I will have it looked into but maybe that's all it is.
