It all started a few months back after a heavy drinking binge. I had/have sever abdominal pain in my left and right upper quadrant. It hurt after I ate for a month then got better. I had blood test done and a cat-scan and they said I was fine.

A few months later and the pain is bearable but still there. I notice if I drink any alcy I have stabbing pain all day for a week or so. Is it possible I have ongoing inflamation ?

I did notice when I changed my diet my stools returned to normal and the pain seems to be going down but is still there and I'm scared I ruined my life. What should I do ?

I'm only 23, I don't want to die........

We may have the same problem. After taking a drink do you feel a burning pain migrating to your spine and limbs (legs & arms)? The pain stays with you for days, unless you watch what you eat. Or the pain subsides after avoiding soda, alcohol, juice, or anything acidic? Let me know? I have a GI appointment in 2 weeks.
