i had lazor treatment on my cervix 15 years ago. i now have a polip on my cervix. do i need to have it removed as i am no longer having children? could it just be left alone?

As far as I know, cervical polyps can even come off on their own during period. If your pap is clear and you have no other problems but this polyp, you could leave it alone - if your gyn of course agrees with it.
If a cervical polyp comes off during your period, it will show as a big clot within your menstrual blood.
If it is causing no troubles during sex, and if it doesn't bleed during sex, you are ok.
Did your gyn suggested you left it alone?
