Hi, folks. My sister in law is vegetarian and she is constantly trying to persuade me to become one as well. She even tells me that vegetarians live longer. I would really want to know if this is true. Can someone tell me this? I will appreciate all your replies to my post.

Hello, there. Believe it or not, it is true. Vegetarians live approximately 7 years longer than regular people. Vegans who do not any animal product live 15 years longer. Some serious researches stand behind this thesis. Vegetarian diet also prevents some serious diseases. Among them are cardiovascular disease and cancer. For example, women who eat meat have 4 times greater risk for developing breast cancer than those who don’t. There are other convincing data about this. I hope I’ve helped you in making your decision. Good luck!
