Hello, I am 34 years old and I have been a vegetarian for the last four months. I admit that there is not much of the vegetarian ideology behind this kind of life, it is simply because of the extra weight I have been trying to get rid of for the past couple of years and now I have made it! But I need to know something – do vegetarians need to use vitamin D supplements?

That depends on what kind of diet you have been using. Vitamin D can be found in soy milk, orange juice, margarine etc. So, if there is none of those products in your diet, then you should really think about adding some vitamin D supplements into your diet. If you do use them, you have nothing to worry about, just continue with your healthy life.
