My sister has recently joined PETA and gets their magazine. I was over at her house a couple of days ago, and I was reading all about how pigs are slaughtered. It made me feel sick, to the point I now want to become a vegetarian. I do doubt that being vegetarian is very good for your health though, and I was wondering if vegetarians need to use egg protein supplements?

Well, it all depends on your individual eating habits - vegetarians, who consume dairy and eggs, obviously have absolutely no need to take supplements to replace the nutrients that are in those, as they eat them directly. Vegans need to take more care, though I am not convinced about a supplement. Proteins can be found in lots of vegetables, and nuts are a great source of protein too.
