Whey Protein = Neurotoxin/Excitotoxin

Whey is a constituent of milk that is processed to extract the proteins from it because of its high percentage of dietary protein, but it is the exact same process of extracting the protein that converts whey into monosodium glutamate, otherwise known as, MSG.

I have heard many people who have tried to excuse this away for their own benefit with claims that theirs  is okay because they were taking whey protein isolate as if it were any different but it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever.

The conversion process to protein converts way into monosodium glutamate even as an isolate.

The most disturbing fact about MSG is NOT the widely and most commonly known fact, that it is a  neurotoxin, but that it is also classified as a excitotoxin.

An excitotoxin is a substance which over stimulates brain cells and makes them fire rapidly, provoking the death of the brain cells.

And yes, I am saying exactly that.  Whey protein causes death of brain cells and anybody who tries to deny this does not understand the science in the processing of extraction of whey proteins, nor the effects of monosodium glutamate upon the brain cells, the effects on other organs, and the diseases that are directly linked to MSG.

Yes, along with being an excitotoxin, it is also indeed also a neurotoxin, and for the benefit of those who do not know what a neurotoxin is, it is a toxin which results in neurological disruption.  It antagonizes the dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain which can and often does result in depression or anxiety issues due to the imbalance that is created in these mood altering hormones a.k.a. neurotransmitters.

Beyond the toxic effects to the brain from MSG, most people don't understand the other very serious complications that arise from excessive and long-term exposure to MSG and several illnesses directly linked to it.

1.]  MSG increases the production of insulin in the pancreas, which results in the extra insulin converting sugars in the blood too fat, thus leaving the body in a hypoglycemic state.

Long-term exposure of MSG can lead to hyperinsulinemia which is a chronic overproduction of insulin which will demand the body to begin producing dangerous T cells in order to try to reverse this.

2.]  Inflammation of the liver or liver enlargement, known as dysplasia is a very common side effect of MSG which results in cell proliferation, which is a pre-cancerous state.

3.) What most people don't realize when it comes to MSG is that there are a whole line of glutamine blocking pharmaceutical drugs on the market today which are used to treat several diseases and disorders which MSG is linked to such as:

Alzheimer's disease

Anti-seizure medications

Anxio-depressive states with somatic complaints

Anxio-depressive states observed in alcoholic detoxification

Psychoneurotic

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

Asthma

Autism

Bipolar disorders

Depression (major depression with or without melancholia or dysthymic disorders, without psychotic features)

Epilepsy (seizures)

Fibromyalgia

Huntington's disease (HD)

Migraine medications

Multiple Sclerosis

Mnemo-cognitive disorders

Neurodegenerative diseases

Neurotic or reactive states of depression

Parkinson's Disease (PD)

Stress

Consider the reality here folks, if those diseases and disorders require a glutamine blocker in order to treat them, imagine what that glutamine or glutamate is doing here body for it to provoke these chronic  health issues.

You are literally playing with fire when you ingest whey protein on a regular basis.
