Well ive heard this talked about quite a bit. and its got me wondering. people say, that if you spit alot while chewing strong gum, jolly rancher, w/e you can lose some water weight. but if you were to drink alot of water everyday, you would lose more weight. idk whats true but please respond. thank you.

None of it is true. Neither spitting or drinking a lot of water will make you lose weight. Only burning more calories than you consume will cause you to lose weight.

I actually lost weight by drinking more water and eating chocacai bars. The water does help to flush out fat and move the bowels.

Exactly what I said. You just replaced food with water, a non-caloric food. You burned more calories than you consumed, not by exercising more, but by comsuming less.
