Drinking enough water is an essential part of being healthy, and is very crucial for weight loss.Initial weight loss is mostly due to dehydration and so adequete amount of intake of water should be there.Burning calories requires an adequate supply of water so that the toxins created by burning of calories can be flushed out from the body.A healthy (weight loss) diet includes a good amount of fiber. But while fiber is normally helpful to your digestive system, without adequate fluids it can cause constipation instead of helping to eliminate it. Drinking water with a meal may make you feel full sooner and therefore you feel satisfied eating less. However, drinking water alone may not have the desired effect. In order to feel satiated (not hungry), our bodies need bulk, calories and nutrients.
