I was a gym fanatic lifting cardio and consuming 1200 cals/day. Due to an accident I haven't been able to work out so I turned to starving myself (worst decision). In 2 months i dropped 10 pounds ( all muscle mass). I was eating anywhere from 600-800 cals. Then my weight plateaued and I wasn't noticing ANY change except for many serious health conditions. Iv started eating meals again till I'm full but very clean eating all vegetables fruit yogurt kale smoothies. I still need to add protein to my diet. I feel a lot better. But my biggest concern is that my body is seriously dehydrated. I am in FEAR of drinking water. My urine used to be very very dark coloured. I'm noticing since I started eating lots of vegetables it's clear which is great but when I drink water my legs ankles feet swell esp around evening. I raise them in bed and urinate the water retention during the night but the cycle goes on. How can I slowly rehydrate myself without blowing up? I need to get better :(
