e-coli in sinus

Oh, I wanted to add something important I forgot before. Dietary restrictions need to be put into effect while you're "clearing house". Those being, keep a low carb, low/no sugar diet as that feeds these little buggers. Stay low on dairy too as that causes your sinuses to drain and will release them down the back of your throat where they'll get to your stomach and add to your problems. Red meat, Pork, Lamb should be eaten sparingly and instead use lots of white meat chicken and turkey, fish and lots of vegetable like Brussel sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, corn, green beans, zucchini, squash, cucumbers and if you must have a carb style veggie sweet potatoes are good until you start feeling better. shouldn't take over 2 weeks tops. But one of the most important things you need to do is have at least one salad a day. As you're feeding them the D Mannose and they're letting go of your gut and sinuses you need to get them out of there. And bacteria will feed on other bacteria and even dead bacteria. They don't care. They're scavengers. So continue with the coconut oil 3 times a day (I did it together with the D Mannose, so it was like a 1-2 punch the bacteria couldn't recover from) . Once the Mannose makes them release their grip they're defenseless without they're hiding places, and the coconut oil can kill them. Then the salad you're eating is like a wonderful broom sweeping all of that garbage out of you. the best part of this is that the bacteria can't become resistant to this protocol like it does to antibiotics. And you don't suffer with Herxheimer's (die off) symptoms because neither of these substances ruptures the bacteria's cell walls releasing it's toxins into your system. It's not a hard regimen and after so long of being sick as soon as you feel it working you start looking forward to every new dose. Natural is indeed the best way. Good Luck!

I have the recipe that I am going to try tonight. I will let you know in s few weeks what happened. I have e coli in my sinuses now for years which is resistant to 15 antibiotics. I refuse to go back on a picc line to chase the infection. They cured me, cultured sinuses which came back perfect. A few months later it was back. Thank you for this amazing advice

Amoxicillin is useless for sever sinus infection. Insist on testing for what will kill it;.

OMG I have been going through same thing ! Been on every antibiotic/ steroid and nose sprays ... It's been 8 months still no cure . Spent 6 weeks with an infectious disease doctor . With a picc line port in my arm to infuse antibiotic directly into my system and still nothing ... Cat scans and cultures still show the E. coli and I feel awful 99% of the time.

This started after I had surgery on my sinuses ... Had to of been transmitted into my sinus cavities during surgery .

hi, i have just read your post about you doggy. Did the treatment work? Is he OK? My cat Lizzy was diagnosed with the same problem. At the beginning, we thought it was a polyp, She was ready for a surgery to remove it but they realized that the tissue was uncommon,so the vet made a biopsy of it and the result was ecoli bacteria. Now, she is under treatment with 2 antibiotics. It passed already 7 days but it seems that it is not working. Today I noticed that her nostrils are swollen (more open) and are releasing mucus. She also makes strong noise breathing. We are worried, three vets already saw her and we do not know what else to do.

Hope broad spectrum antibiotics did the trick.

D-Mannose... This is what I ultimately found to not be harmful to me and it actually worked. I dosed 2000 units am and pm. If you can't swallow pills get the powder form as it has no taste and can be taken in liquid. It goes in and the bacteria's attach themselves to IT and then IT is flushed out of your system with the other wastes. YOU MUST TRY THIS, for cronic UTI'S and SINUS infections.

Kaiser would only diagnose me with allergies. I have none. I am currently at the Eliava Institute, Tbilisi, Georgia (was Russia). They diagnosed me with Staph Epidermidis and E. Coli. The Staph biofilm picked up the E. Coli. E. Coli is heavily concentrated in liver and pancreas. I am using Bacteriophage Therapy. The Staph builds a sugar biofilm that antibiotics can't get through to kill Bacteria. I am documenting this on Facebook.

Me and my family is helped by your story. We are on our mend hopefully, with D-mannose. I had not heard of D-mannose before I read your story! And for the first time in two years of illness we feel slightly better and look with hope again on our healing from a terrible and long illness, were doctors, hospitals, infectious mediciners has been of very little help.
