It cleared with treatment, but sense had another surgery last week to fix a spot the ENT forgot then my new ENT found mrsa trapped in that blocked cavity, luckly it didn't spread and came out with the blockage. I'm on another antibiotic now. Good luck and hope you find relief soon

i just found i have it too and its worrisome...i am so careful to wash my hands et...however we live in the sw and moved to a knew place with a barn type garage..and dirt floor out there. as well as we have pets..(even though i prefer to be clean)..husband loves cats and we have 6...although i keep them out of the main house. and also dogs..and they shake and ugghhh i always was so clean when single. i hike a lot with the dogs..so who knows.. i have had several maxillary surgeries..rt jaw facial issues and several sinus surgeries and i am fearful it could be deep in the tissue or bone..yikes..this is very scary. i haven't talked to my dr yet..bc just found the result in my online thing we can look up from the office. I'm glad to see someone finally posting that e coli can be anywhere bc i truly do try to be careful washing hands after bathroom and all the time...so much so my husband teases me. I'm a nurse (haven't worked in years) however i wash my hands constantly...;(

Just found out our 11 1/2 year old golden doodle has e coli infection in his sinus cavity. They did a rhinoscope and we are still waiting for other tests to come back. Can anyone share info on this? Cause, treatment, prognosis? Thank you so much.

My dog has ecoli and pseudomonas in his nose. We've had X-rays, Nasal flushes and a camera in his nose. He had two different lots of antibiotics. The last ones for four weeks twice a day. I've now put him on portion to try and stop him sneezing as if he sneezes really hard his nose bleeds.

Could you tell me what device you are using for the sinus rinses and exactly how to use it? Thanks!

i lived with it for almost 6 years, get the surgery ASAP, dont let it be to late or it will be your life. This can cause infections in your hear and brain. I had my surgery this past summer, you wont feel anything. Totally asleep. You will not solve it with any medication. However even after the sugery you will still have it, buy a flush kit and flush flush 10 bags a day in there. Till its gone. Thats the only way.

Hi. My puppy has just been diagnosed with the exact same thing. Her breathing is also laboured. How successful was the treatment with your dog? How worried should I be. She's starting on antibiotics tomorrow. Should she be kept in? Anything I should avoid? Any other advice? I'm just worried about her. She's immuno-compromised.

What kind of symptoms did you have? My son was diagnosed with this after three months of everyone telling him he was fine. So frustrating. Than you!

Thanks Sparky, my son suffers terribly from what sounds like your own ailment. We'll give that a try. One question though on the nasal sinus rinsing. exactly how is that done, safely. I wonder if swimming and maybe the sauna would help, in a chlorine background, or is it more virulent than that do you think?

Sparky, how are you doing now, with the sinus smell and body odor? Has your remedy worked, long-term?

Hi, I had chronic sinus infections until I was told by my P.A.to purchase a netty pot, a ceramic looking tea pot with a long spout that has been used by the Chinese for thousands of years. You just add fine sea salt with warm distilled water and you run it through your sinuses. I started using it right away and it cleared up the infection and I have never gotten another one. That was in 2003. I hooe this heals you. Good luck to you.
