My 13 year old daughter started the second week of Sept. o6, complaining of an earache. After three courses of antibiotics and numerous visits to the pediatrician, and two ENT's we/she are scared and exhausted with no agreed on diagnosis.

We visited two ENT’s each diagnosing to different causes for the problem. One wants to remove the tonsils and adenoids the other indicated wisdom teeth were the problem not the tonsils. We are headed to a third specialist this coming Monday to get another opinion.

Through out all of this my daughter has been a real trooper, but is now growing tired of being in pain (constant) and is finding it very difficult to maintain here normal level of energy. She is exhausted more and more showing signs of a decreased energy level and problems with concentration. Oh, and by the way the only thing the ENT's agreed on is, that there is permanent hearing loss, (40% in the left hear) but neither can agree on how this has happened.

The two ENT's were from respected facilities, the Cleveland Clinic and Rainbow Babies, someone help me please. What other questions haven't I asked or what more could I do? I am at a loss I am starting to see sign that this happy bright A student is beginning to struggle with what she is dealing with.

Are there test that Ishould be asking for? Or questions that I am not asking? To date she has had numerous audiology tests, CT scan, however no blood work or MRI. Should we be moving in this direction? Could my child be dealing more with a Oncology issue? help!!!!! any one!
