what would happen if I was to swap a fuel pump on my truck - I have a 4 cyl could I put in the fuel pump for the V6?

The V6 version seems like it'll fit.

Would this cause the end of all life as we know it?

If it bolts up fine, my guess is that it's not a problem. The fuel pressure is regulated elsewhere. Why don't you call a NAPA dealer and find out for sure?
