So, before anything is assumed, I am a virgin. Therefore, there is no way this can be an STD. I am a 16 year old female, and I can't confide in my parents for over another week because they are on vacation! Anyways, a week or two ago, I noticed my pubic area was instensely itchy. I tried to force myself not to scratch it, but I'm pretty sure I did in my sleep. A few days later, red bumps started to appear. These didn't hurt, but were extremely itchy. I tried to leave them, but once again, I'm pretty sure I scratched. Now, they are bigger, redder, and some are even pus filled- very pus filled. None of these are inside the vagina, just on the places where hair grows. I've tried wearing loose clothing, and placing a cloth down there for over and hour, and It seemed to help a tad. Then I went to bed, and woke up with them even worse. The itchiness is almost unbearable, and it feels as though there is tingling down there as well. They only hurt when clothing rubs against them or they are irritated. And there are A LOT of these bumps.. almost looks like a rash. Any suggestions as to what this may be, and how I can treat this on my own for now? Could this be a result of a ton of ingrown hairs? I've never gotten an ingrown hair before, so I have no idea. If so, how can I clear this up! Please help, the feeling is almost unbearable and I'm growing worried now, because it isn't clearing up at all. And so far, I haven't found much help on the internet!
