Female hormones and female hormones! That is all my 16 year old daughter speaks of these days. It seems that puberty is taking its course and there is not much I can do here. She has an acne now on her face and that is driving her crazy (including me and my husband). Is there any way I can help her here? I mean, acne is not something you should go immediately to a doctor, right?

Well, as far as I know, acne is not something that can be left aside easily. They can even last for a couple of months. It is true that they emerge more in teenagers, but it is something that should be treated. If not, a little scar might emerge, which is not a problem, but if you have several acnes in one area, that could look not so good in the end.
