I recently discovered about 4 dark Marks/spots/bumps on my penis. It has happened before and 6 Doctors later I was told I have genital warts and I was treated for it and it seemed to work. I was never 100% sure that it was warts because 5 others doctors told me it wasn't before I was told I had hpv. Just last night I noticed the same type of Marks in the same vicinity. The reason I think it could possibly be something else is one, both times I noticed the bumps it was a day or two after I masterbated with the same brand lubricant and two they're more like raised spots as oppose to a protruding wart and three, they have hairs sticking out the corner of each one which had me thinking there's an issue with my hair gland or folicle. The time before I would try to pull the hairs out, it would come out pretty easy but they never had the root on it, it was always curled up at the end almost like it broke or was dissolved and eventually they hair would grow back. If anyone has any info on what you think it could be whether it's a issue with my gland or you think its gentile warts would be appreciated. Also I'd like to hear from someone who knows if warts grow hairs from under them or around the egdes.

Hey there how are you? So to answer your question warts do not generally grow hair, I suppose if the wart infected cells around a follicle it’s possible but generally they do not.... further more if these spots are on your glans of your penis. There should not be any hair follicles on your glans..... it hard to give you much more info because I cannot see these lumps. Does this help at all?

It's more of towards the base on the side the hairs arent coming out the middle but out of the side edges. I wish I could post a pic cause it would help out more. Thanks for the response
