I have been on depo provera for about 2 and half years now and sometimes I get that same brown solid fleshy thingy every now and then. I told my gynocologist about it and she said it was normal in after your first depo shot and right before you are scheduled for another one. However, mine was in the middle of two shots. And I had a splitting pain around my cervix and abdomen. Felt like really bad cramps. I have never really felt my cramps. So, it was a new pain. At my next appointment I told my gynocologist about it and expressed my concern and told her that in all the time I have been on Depo, I had never experienced this. Well, she did a pap-smear and said she was going to call me after three days. It only took 24 hours before she called me and told me to come in as soon as possible. She told me that the blobs on the pap were from my cervix and that the cervix was basically rotting and that I had Cervical Cancer type 3. It was a shock to me, especially since I had just been to the gynocologist 6 months before and the pap was normal. I don't know if any of you have experienced this shock.

But the morning after pill is literally a very early term abortion method, cramping bleeding and often that stringy discharge, are all normal sypmtoms. It's the passing of the pregnancy.
That glob that comes out is the under developed fetus, or the sac, that often contains no fetus.

I have been dealing with this problem for the past couple days and I am 100% positive that I am not pregnant (I didn't have sex). I called my Dr who said it's probably due to the IUD I had inserted a couple months back and that it is likely the uterine lining shedding, which can occasionally come out like this (solid fleshy membrane chunks) during the first 6 months after insertion. I only got this IUD because it was supposed to lighten my heavier periods, but this is even worse. I'm going in for a visit to make sure that everything is fine and I may just end up getting this IUD removed while I'm there. The cramps and weird bleeding are really not worth it.
