My son is taking Fludrocortisone to help with circulatory issue of his blood pooling in his ankles and causing him to pass out. He is also currently taking Theophyllin. I am awaiting a call from our family doctor but maybe someone can give me some additional information on this prior to discussing with him.

Corticosteroid Fludrocortisone is intended to help control the amount of sodium and fluids in our bodies. it is recommended to decrease your dose gradually as cutting the drug can cause loss of appetite, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, fever, joint and muscle pain, and weight loss so. While taking this drug, it might be necessary to follow a low salt, low-sodium or potassium-rich diet.
