I woke up a few weeks ago with what felt like a pimple forming.  But as the hours in the day went by, the entire top of the left side of my nose was swollen with a layer of fluid.  By the evening time, I felt feverish.  The next day I went to urgent care, and they gave me antibiotics.  We thought it was possibly a spider bite.  Two days later, it had gotten worse.  My dermatologist told me to put hot compresses on it, and it felt and looked like it was going to explode.  I looked like Rudolph.  They changed the antibiotics.  I have since been on two courses of Keflex, but the fluid and redness is still there, as well as the dull pain.  The other day, the nurse injected a sterile needle and some stuff come out.  The size of it went down a little, but it still looks like I have a small keloid on my nose.  I am horrified.  I don't know what the damned thing is, and I guess, neither do my doctors or it would be better by now.  If anyone has had any experience with anything like this---please reach out!
