Hi.
I'm male 18 y.o basically when flacid my foreskin totally covers the head of my penis but can easily be pulled back without any pain... However. When erect it doesn't retract a lot. 1cm at most usually. Just showing the end. Again it can be pulled back without pain easily. This causes the end of my penis to have enlarged but not gotten hard enough to penetrate thus causing my 'shaft' to not get as hard either... Any help is appreciated from ways of combating to how common(un) . Thanks.

I'm not clear on what the problem is.
You state the foreskin can be pulled back easily both when flacid and when erect.

If you want to penetrate, why not retract the foreskin to expose the head, and then penetrate?
(I must admit, as a circumcised male, I'm not clear if this is possible nor if this is the problem.)

Many men have concerns about their foreskin not retracting enough, and they can consider:

1) Gentle stretching of the foreskin to allow retraction over time.
2) A small snip, called a "dorsal slit" to allow retraction immediately after healing
3) total circumcision to remove t he problem all together.

All three should be discussed with your doctor. But you could start the first option on your own.
Some men have success with the first stretching option, but others can't get enough clearance and proceed to 2 or 3.

Good luck.
