I had to stop drinking diet colas because this was happening to me also.It took me a long time to figure out what it was because it didn't happen with some other diet drinks. Hope this helps.

I finally figured out that for me it is coca cola especially if it comes from a fountain like at Mc Donalds or other restaurants.
